We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, making it the cleanest hotel in this city. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and the parking was convenient. The location was ideal, with easy access to downtown and the nearby State Park. The breakfast area was very clean, bright, and comfortable, and the breakfast itself was delicious and satisfying. However, the best part of our stay was the friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcomed and well taken care of.

Great value and excellent location! The staff here is always very friendly and warm, and yet extremely professional. Always very impressed with the staff. Location is perfect, close to the Hill Country and just a short drive to a church camp.

The hotel is a bit older, and the pool can get rowdy at times. I also wish I had a first floor room, as I have trouble with my knees.

My overall stay at Best Western Johnson City Inn was excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast bar was always well-stocked.

Although we experienced a minor inconvenience with the water not getting very hot and the coffee pot turning off, the hotel staff was quick to respond and offered to replace the coffee pot if needed. The housekeeping staff was also great, ensuring that the room was clean and well-maintained.

The grounds of this motel were absolutely wonderful. The park on the property was filled with beautiful features like a gazebo, vine-covered swing, and vibrant roses and magnolias. It was such a peaceful and charming place to relax and unwind. Additionally, the hotel had a large park-like area with tables and grills, perfect for family gatherings or enjoying a barbecue. I also loved that the motel was well-lit at night, allowing guests to take a stroll and enjoy the fresh air.

One thing I didn't like was that the breakfast ended quite early in the morning. However, I understand that this is a common issue in many hotels.

A Hidden Gem

The little park next door was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed a peaceful stroll amidst the beautiful surroundings. The clean room, comfortable beds, and spotlessly white towels added to our positive experience. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and nicely appointed. The beds were comfortable, and the towels were spotlessly white. The hotel grounds were beautiful, with a lovely garden area where we could sit and have coffee. The staff, especially Stacy at the front desk, was very friendly, helpful, and glad to assist with everything we needed. The hotel's location was perfect, as it was close to everything in the area that we were interested in sightseeing, including Fredericksburg. Additionally, there were plenty of restaurants nearby and the breakfast served at the hotel was delicious.

We recently stayed at a hotel close to Pedernales State Park and were impressed with its convenient location. It was the perfect base for exploring the park and other nearby attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff provided friendly and helpful service throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the beautiful garden on the side of the hotel, a tranquil place to relax after a day of sightseeing.

The TV reception was inconsistent and the WiFi was quite slow, which was a bit frustrating at times.

Reasonable priced hotel with extremely friendly staff. They were helpful with directions and recommendations. The A/C and internet worked well. The room was neat and the bed comfortable. A small pool and a nice little park were nearby.
