Fairly close to Balboa Park. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Convenient airport shuttle service.

During our stay at Best Western, we were pleasantly surprised by the early check-in we received. Our room, 606, was clean, efficient, and had a great city view. We also appreciated the security feature of needing a key to access the elevator. The hotel's proximity to the pier made it convenient to walk or use the provided shuttle. The parking fee of $20 per night was reasonable for downtown.

The location of this hotel was fantastic for exploring downtown San Diego. It was close to the gaslamp district and also within walking distance to Little Italy, which had some amazing restaurants and bars. The shuttle service provided by the hotel was excellent, making it easy to get around the area. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and reasonably-sized, with some even offering a superb view towards the seafront. And despite being a basic amenity, the breakfast at the hotel's café was good, with several options to choose from.

All in all, our stay at this hotel was great and we had no major complaints.

Breakfast options were plentiful and the coffee was outstanding, with various flavorings available. the hotel had a beautiful view of the bay, and we could even see the Star of India from our room. the rate we paid for our stay was very good and affordable.

When we entered the hotel, there was a strong smell similar to acid at the front desk, which wasn't pleasant. Parking was not included and cost $22 per day, which is common in San Diego but still something to consider when budgeting for your trip.

Everything was spot on.

I recently stayed at a hotel in a great central location in San Diego for my business trip. The modern and clean room had a fantastic view and a comfortable king bed. The ingenious bedside lamp base allowed for easy charging of electronics. The breakfast had sufficient choices and the staff was friendly. The outdoor pool looked nice, although I didn't get a chance to use it. The gym had all the equipment I needed. Would definitely go back if in town again.
