The hotel's location is great, close to restaurants and the historic downtown area. The mini-fridge in the room was helpful, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hot water and shower pressure were good. If you're planning a trip to the lake, it's quite close.

Soundproofing wasn't great, and our stay was disturbed by noisy neighbors and pets.

The hotel is perfectly located right across the street from the shuttle stop, which makes it easy to travel to the slopes at the center of Truckee. The basic amenities in the room are great, especially the comfortable bed and good amenities in the desk chair or on the bed with the furnishings. Additionally, the breakfast is better than average, with many healthy options included, except for one cold cereal.

My daughter and I had a great stay at Best Western in Truckee. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, away from the downtown bustle. We enjoyed the convenience of having restaurants nearby and easy access to the park. The hotel even had a designated area for dogs to do their business, which was a plus for us. Inside the room, it was comfortable and cozy, perfect for our stay. The staff was friendly and the warm cookies in the afternoon were a delightful treat. My daughter loved the do-it-yourself Belgian waffle breakfast, and I appreciated the beautiful property with great amenities. The gas fire area at the front was a particular highlight, providing a cozy atmosphere. As a mother of a 25-year-old with a disability, I was thrilled to see the ADA pool lifts, showing the hotel's commitment to accessibility. it was a fantastic stay and I will definitely be coming back due to my frequent work trips to the area. Excellent experience!

We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of our room at Best Western. Despite bringing our own cleaning supplies, we found that everything was already spotless, even the walls! The hotel amenities were fantastic, including the fire pits in the evening and the delicious breakfast buffet. There were also great dining options nearby and beautiful wooded trails to walk our dog. The renovated rooms were comfortable and the location was perfect for skiing.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The concierge was kind enough to let me check in early, allowing me to settle in and freshen up after a long drive before heading out to explore North Tahoe. The room was lovely and had some great decorator touches, like the ski coatrack and posters. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. The location was perfect, with two great restaurants right across the street and a shuttle stop just steps away for easy transportation to the slopes.

I had an amazing stay here! The location was perfect, with a shuttle stop right across the street that took me directly to the slopes. The room amenities were excellent, including ironing facilities and a tea and coffee station. The staff was friendly, and the leisure facilities, like the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, were a great way to relax.

During our romantic escape, we found the location of the hotel to be very convenient. It was within walking distance of various dining and shopping options, which made it easy for us to explore and find places to eat. Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised by the homemade cookies and the delicious breakfast offered the next morning. Starting our day with a tasty meal definitely added a nice touch to our stay.

There were a couple of drawbacks to our experience. we were disappointed to find that our room, which was supposed to have two queen beds, actually had two full beds.
