My partner and I stayed at the Black Bear Lodge for two nights during our snowboarding trip. The location between Hunter and Windham was perfect for us. The grab and go breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with a delicious blueberry muffin and fresh apple. The breakfast room had a cozy atmosphere and offered hot coffee and tea. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean, and we appreciated the wooden floors in the room instead of carpet. The friendly management and their local knowledge of the area were also a plus.

The hotel grounds backing up to a hiking trail leading to a beautiful stream made it ideal for my dog, especially with the fresh snow. The hosts were extremely welcoming and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.
