At the Blue Swallow Motel, I got amazing value for my money. The room was incredibly comfortable and clean, with a powerful and hot shower. The location was perfect, right on Route 66, and the staff treated me like family, especially Robert, the passionate owner who made my stay extra special.

The only thing that could have made breakfast better at this gem of a motel was if they offered more variety in their breakfast items.

The owner, Kevin Mueller, was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with great sheets and towels. The motel doubles as a Route 66 museum, filled with fascinating historic memorabilia. Sitting under the neon lights and chatting with other guests about their journeys was a unique and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend for anyone interested in the old Route 66!

The motel had a unique and vintage vibe which added to the charm of the experience. The decorations in the rooms and garage were cool and nostalgic. The neon lighting was a rare sight and made for great photo opportunities. , the owners were really friendly and sociable.

The noise from the nearby road was quite disruptive, especially for those sensitive to sound. the lack of a 24-hour check-in option added unnecessary stress, especially when the owners live on the property.

This vintage motel was a real treat! The owner was so friendly and took the time to show me around and make sure I had everything I needed. The room was cozy and had a comfortable bed with a cool retro vibe. I loved the small bathroom with its original tiles. Plus, having a garage was a nice bonus! The motel itself had a lot of character and the neon signs added a fun touch. The owner even stocked the fire pit with wood for a cozy evening of s'mores. Such a unique and enjoyable experience!

I honestly can't think of anything negative about my stay. Everything was just perfect and I wish I could have stayed longer to explore the area more.
