Beautiful lake, rustic setting. Sensational nature center staff. Great lodge staff. Delicious, hot, fresh food. Attentive wait staff. Clean common areas and rooms. Quiet setting, beautiful scenery. Saw deer outside window. Good food at on-site restaurant. Comfortable beds. Large bunk beds with queens and twin. Sandy beach, hiking trails. Large screened porch. Perfect kitchen for Easter eggs. Large refrigerator.

The value for the money was excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was beautiful, surrounded by stunning scenery and with plenty of walking and hiking trails. The staff at the lodge were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

The breakfast menu could use some improvement, it could be more varied.

Spectacular lodge, friendly staff, great food, and helpful waitresses. Comfy rustic cabin with a fabulous fireplace and efficient heater. Very good and reasonably priced breakfast within a good time frame. Improved food and added elevator, with handicapped room options.

The location of the lodge was perfect for outdoor activities, with beautiful hilly surroundings and a view of the tree-covered ridge from our room. the proximity to nature made it a great choice for nature lovers like us. Additionally, the food at the restaurant exceeded our expectations, with excellent dishes like wings, crab cakes, and a meat lover omelet. the servers were also attentive and provided great service.

There were a few negative aspects during our stay. the rooms were quite small and basic, lacking amenities like a desk or easy chair.

I recently stayed at a charming lodge nestled in a state park and had an amazing time. The room was cozy, sunlit, and had a lovely view of the mountain. The European-style linens and nice towels were an unexpected touch of luxury. The lodge itself had a retro cool vibe and was perfect for relaxing and playing games or doing puzzles. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant had a good variety of delicious food. The location was also great, not too far from the DC area, with upgraded trails and lots of hiking options. it was a wonderful and memorable stay.

The only thing that could make the breakfast selection better would be expanding to include more diverse options beyond the typical US food service fare.

The lodge is currently undergoing renovations, improving its amenities. It is located near a golf course and offers beautiful scenery and a lake with a beach and diving area. The stables provide great trail rides, and there are hiking trails for all skill levels. The restaurant serves tasty meals, and the staff are friendly and accommodating.

The hotel had a beautiful setting with creeks, falls, and lakes nearby. It was great for outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, and golfing. the hotel also had a lovely back porch with rocking chairs where you could relax and enjoy the view.

The hotel room I stayed in was quite small and the bed was pushed under a roof overhang, making it difficult to get in and out of that side. Additionally, the information provided about the hotel was lacking, as there was nothing in the room or given at check-in.

I recently stayed at Cacapon State Park Lodge for a weekend getaway. The setting was peaceful and the scenery was beautiful. We were even treated to the sight of 10 deer right outside our window. The on-site restaurant offered delicious food at reasonable prices, and the staff was very friendly. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a great night's sleep for my wife, who has a bad back. Additionally, the rockers outside and the dining room on site were lovely amenities. The gift shop was a nice touch, and the renovated bathroom with a super showerhead was a pleasant surprise. the staff was efficient and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

Totally recommend this hotel.
