Nothing could have been better.

We had stayed at Candlewood before and needed a break from terrible neighbors. It was just what we needed and we were comfortable and relaxed the entire stay. Staff is always great :) Thank you so much and please let them know they are appreciated. They were kind and helpful when another hotel canceled on me. The room was quiet with a well-equipped kitchenette. The bed was firm but comfortable.

Not getting the room type expected, no breakfast, questionable location.

I had a last-minute cancellation at another hotel chain, but Candlewood came through for me! The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, even without a reservation. They made my day by getting me a beautiful room and easing my anxiety. The room was spacious, clean, and perfect for traveling with my dog. Despite arriving at 2 am, there was someone available to assist me, and they were friendly and pleasant. The bed was comfortable, with a great mattress and pillows. The on-site food store had everything I needed for snacks and breakfast, and there were even microwave meals available for cooking. the experience was fantastic!

For the price we paid, we got great value with comfortable beds, a well-stocked room, and friendly staff. The location was convenient, and the staff was accommodating, especially when we arrived late at night.

The breakfast selection could use some improvement, but there were cookies, hot cider, and candies available in the evening.

Excellent amenities and helpful front desk staff. The pantry offers a wide variety of goodies at reasonable prices. The laundry facilities and fitness center are well-equipped. The hotel also provides complimentary DVD rentals. Although the location may not be the nicest, I didn't experience any issues. I would recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room exceeded our expectations - it was clean, comfortable, and more spacious than anticipated. The hotel is conveniently located near the freeway entrance, making it easy for us to drive into Tacoma. In addition, it is only a short 15-minute drive from Sheilacoom Park, which we loved exploring. The staff was friendly and resolved an issue we had upon check-in quickly and with kindness. The laundry area, although small, was well-maintained and in good working order. We appreciated that the hotel was very dog-friendly, yet still impeccably clean, which is not always the case in this price range.

Additionally, the hotel's location was convenient as it was close to major highways, making it easy for us to explore the surrounding area. The hotel is situated in a questionable part of town, which made us feel uneasy during our stay. the area didn't seem very safe and we were concerned about leaving any valuables in our car.
