Breakfasts served here are delightful, featuring homemade cakes and delicious French toast. Guests can also enjoy beverages and homemade snacks in the afternoon.

This hotel offers great value for money, with prices that are reasonable for the quality of service provided. They pay great attention to detail, evident in the beautiful place settings at breakfast and the interior filled with gorgeous antiques. The location is also a plus, as it is fairly close to the beach on the Connecticut shore.

All was satisfactory, nothing to complain about.

We stayed at a charming inn for Thanksgiving and it was amazing! The decorations were lovely and it really felt like we were surrounded by family. The breakfast was fantastic, with homemade baked goods and fresh fruit. We also loved the location, just a short walk from the beach, and the fact that they offered a complimentary shuttle to nearby restaurants.

We really can't think of anything negative to say. The only minor issue was that the room was a bit small, but that wasn't a big deal for us.

I recently stayed at Captain Stannard Country Inn for a girlfriend getaway and it was truly magical. From the moment we arrived, the owners greeted us like old friends and provided us with valuable information about local restaurants and attractions. The room was pleasant and had all the amenities we needed, including air conditioning that we could control ourselves. The Inn itself is lovely, with a charming front porch, games, a pool table, and plenty of gathering spaces. We loved that we could easily walk to a beautiful beach and the Inn provided beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and even books. The breakfast was delicious, although I would have appreciated a bit more variety. Despite that, the service was terrific and the coffee was wonderful. I highly recommend this Inn for a delightful and enchanting stay.
