The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delivered to the room each morning. Great location near shops, restaurants, and the beach. Offered free parking for the day we checked out.

This hotel was a great value for money! The location was perfect, situated in the center of the city and within walking distance to all the great restaurants and main streets. The staff was attentive to detail and very friendly. The rooms were clean and in perfect condition, with nice retro touches like a fireplace and balcony. The breakfast, which is included in the already affordable rate, was a great touch and had lots of fresh fruit.

We recently stayed at this place and had a wonderful time exploring the village. The location was perfect for us, as we were able to walk to all the restaurants and shops.Main streets were right there! The service was excellent and we appreciated the free wi-fi in our room. The amenities were great too- we enjoyed having coffee and tea facilities in our room and appreciated the free toiletries provided.

We had a minor issue when we requested a pet-free room, as the staff did not seem too happy with our request. Despite this, we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the area.

We stayed at Carmel Lodge for a short stay while on our way to Big Sur. The location was excellent, with easy access to the beach and Ocean Drive. We loved being within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The complimentary continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with unexpectedly delicious pastries. The breakfast delivery in the morning was a great touch, and the staff was super friendly. The free parking was also a huge plus. Carmel Lodge provided a clean and comfortable stay with a great location.

The location is terrible since it's distant from everything and surrounded by unpleasant views. The room feels like a prison cell with outdated, dirty carpets and no sunlight. The bathroom is abhorrent, with random water leaks and an overpowering smell of mold. The service is non-existent, and there is no breakfast, coffee, or even electrical outlets in the room.

The lodge is not worth the money spent, and the amenities are non-existent.

Spent Christmas here and loved the complimentary hot cocoa and cookies in the lobby every night. the location was fantastic, just a short walk from the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. the breakfast delivered to our room every morning was a nice touch and allowed us to enjoy a leisurely morning.

The rooms were a bit outdated and some of the amenities could use an update. the walls were also thin, which made it a bit noisy at times.
