Plenty of room for our family, with all the necessary kitchen appliances and supplies. Convenient location near grocery stores and within walking distance of bars and restaurants. Safe neighborhood with a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed the front porch for breakfast and the back balcony for evening drinks. Kids loved the bunk beds and the bathroom had a great shower. we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay as foreign tourists.

Our stay at Casa California was simply wonderful. The location was perfect, with easy access to the zoo, Balboa Park, and downtown. We especially loved the beautiful views from the front porch and back balcony. The shower in the bathroom had great water pressure, making for a refreshing experience. We also appreciated the proximity to bars and restaurants in North Park, such as White Elephant Asian Kitchen and Hillcrest Bar. And having a Sprouts Farmers Market nearby was incredibly convenient. we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this place.

While our stay was mostly amazing, there were a couple of drawbacks. the parking situation was challenging, and we had to park several blocks away on most nights.

The spacious apartment provided plenty of room for all of us, and we loved having amenities like a toaster, coffee pot, and pots and pans. The bathroom was well-stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, which was a nice touch. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, allowing us to feel comfortable leaving our door open. We also appreciated the convenience of grocery stores within walking distance and the sand toys provided for the beach. The front porch and back balcony were perfect for enjoying meals and drinks, and the kids especially enjoyed their room with bunk beds. The location was ideal, close to the zoo, Balboa Park, bars, and restaurants. We can highly recommend White Elephant Asian Kitchen and Hillcrest Bar. we had a fantastic experience at Casa California.

This hotel needs improvements, especially in the bathroom which was outdated and in need of renovations. The air conditioning was not effective and the Wi-Fi was spotty.

The location of Casa California was perfect for our visit to San Diego. Being close to the zoo and Balboa Park made it easy to explore the city. Additionally, getting downtown was a breeze. The water pressure in the shower was impressive, providing a refreshing and invigorating experience.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. Parking was convenient, and I had no trouble finding a spot. The location on the edge of Hillcrest was ideal, as it provided easy access to bars and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel also had a lovely front porch facing the sunset and a small terrace with a beautiful sunrise view. Truly an amazing spot!
