The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful, with picturesque surroundings and a lovely view of the river from the riverview rooms. The history of the property is fascinating, and I highly recommend the self-guided tour. The location is great, just a short distance from downtown. The staff were friendly and helpful, and parking on the property made things very convenient. The rooms were well-furnished and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. a delightful and unique stay.

The location was close to the Historic District and some interesting attractions. However, the staff was annoyed to give us little information about the property's history. We just discovered that folks lived in caves during the shelling of the town by Union soldiers.

The room was dirty, full of old and stained carpets and bedspreads, and we could feel the springs in the bed. The bathroom was not well-maintained and outdated.

The staff members were friendly and accommodating, especially during breakfast where they even made toast for me. The garden was beautifully maintained, and I couldn't find a single area that wasn't well looked after. Additionally, the laundry facilities and parking were excellent amenities.

the outdoor swimming pool with its sun terrace, sun loungers, and garden area was a paradise for relaxation. the breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options in a private outdoor dining area. Our room was spacious and well-equipped with exclusive facilities such as a private pool with a view, a shallow end, and beach umbrellas. Cons: the only minor issue we had was the lack of massage services available on-site. the hotel made up for it by providing us with recommendations for nearby facilities. this venue provided us with a fantastic experience that was worth every penny.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, with easy access to the ruins of an old store in caves during the shelling of the town by Union soldiers, as well as being close to the outlet mall and other attractions in the Vicksburg area. The staff were excellent, providing us with a warm welcome and friendly service throughout our stay. Our room in the Garden Cottage was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a private entrance and parking conveniently located right outside our door. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with beautifully kept grounds and a free tour of the historic mansion, which provided us with interesting historical facts. The breakfast served in the morning was delicious, with fresh eggs, bacon, biscuits, fruit, yogurt.

Our room had live bugs and torn curtains. the bed mattresses and springs could use updating.
