We stayed at a stunning historical property that used to be a convent and school for a weekend getaway. the unique features like the beautiful stained glass windows and original artwork were meticulously preserved. the bright bathroom and cozy bed made our stay so comfortable. the free filtered water and delicious continental breakfast were nice touches. the hotel's location right by the metro rail and downtown area was convenient for exploring the city.

Celeste Of St Paul is a true architectural gem, honoring its history beautifully. the ambiance in the main hallways, lobby, and bar area is cool. the bed and pillows are very comfy, and the location is convenient for exploring downtown.

Stayed here for an Easter weekend getaway. the architecture is outstanding and the location was very convenient to explore the city as it was close to many public buildings and historical landmarks. One of the best things was the panoramic view of the city, which was breathtaking at night. the rooms were also quite spacious with high ceilings, wooden floors, and plenty of natural stone. the breakfast was decent and the staff was friendly.

The hotel was lacking in many facilities and amenities. There was no wine bar or lounge to relax in and have a few drinks and light snacks.

This newly added hotel is a wonderful option for visitors in St. Paul. With its prime location near the Minnesota Capitol building, guests can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views at night. The spacious rooms are tastefully designed with high ceilings, woodwork, and stone, creating a luxurious ambiance. More food plate availability in the evenings would be a welcome improvement.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel in St. Paul. The location was perfect, offering stunning views of the Minnesota Capitol building at night. The hotel itself was a restored school/nunnery with beautiful architecture, featuring spacious rooms with high ceilings, woodwork, and stone accents. The updated bathrooms were a nice touch. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning and appreciated the convenience of being near public buildings and the Fitzgerald Theater. Despite a slight shortage of food options in the evenings, we loved the boutique wine bar concept and the idea of renaming the "bar" to a more sophisticated "lounge". we highly recommend this hotel for its unique character, unbeatable location, and comfortable accommodations.
