The location is simply stunning, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel itself is a charming old country inn, with quaint and cozy rooms that are very clean and well supplied. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. The breakfast was out of this world, with a delicious selection of traditional dishes that were plentiful and delicious.

One downside was the lack of cellular service in the area, which made it a bit difficult to stay connected. Additionally, we were disappointed to find that the advertised restaurant was closed during our stay, forcing us to drive a distance to find dinner.

As young families, we loved the cozy rooms with plenty of pillows, towels, and a fridge. The breakfast prepared by Rose was incredible, especially the stuffed French toast. The inn had a charming and cozy atmosphere with beautiful decor that perfectly balanced feminine and masculine sensibilities. the owner was incredibly welcoming and served the most delicious breakfasts, using fresh ingredients from her garden. the room we stayed in had a comfortable bed and a stunning view of the mountains. the location was also great, being just a minute away from the lake and within a short drive to Lovell and other attractions like the Hemlock Covered Bridge and White Mountain National Forest.

There was no cellular service in the area, although the inn had reliable WiFi. the lack of a bar and restaurant service during our stay was also disappointing, especially considering the inn was at full capacity.
