I recently stayed at the River Bend Lodge in Chama for a quick weekend getaway. The location is perfect, with beautiful walks along the river and a large play area for families. The rooms are simple but clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The grounds are well-maintained, with a lovely gazebo over the river and fire pits to enjoy on chilly nights. I also appreciated the front porch with benches outside each room, it was a nice touch.

The cabin we stayed in had a nice rustic feel to it and the king bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and replenished the coffee packets daily. The location of the hotel was also great, away from the busy downtown area.

The floors were dirty and the shower dispensers were not filled. We also noticed spider webs in the cabin, which made us uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at the cozy cabin in Chama. It comfortably accommodated our family of six, with a fully equipped kitchen and BBQ. The communal firepit allowed us to connect with other guests, and the nearby walking path along the babbling creek was a lovely place to explore. The hot tub, playground, and lawn area were perfect for our energetic kids. The location was ideal for travelers riding the Combres and Toltec RR, and the grounds around the lodge were picturesque. a great experience!

We stayed at Chama River Bend Lodge for a few days while visiting the Toltec Railroad, and we were extremely satisfied with our stay. The room was impeccably clean and the property itself was well-maintained. One of the highlights was the unique deck area that overlooked the beautiful river, where we could relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. We also loved the neat fire pit at the back of the property, as well as the two grill areas, playground, and covered sitting area. Inside the room, we found all the necessary amenities, including a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, along with a comfortable loveseat and ample storage space. Despite being an older place, it had its own charm and was in great condition. Additionally, the location was ideal and convenient for our travel needs.

I recently stayed at Chama River Bend Lodge while riding the Chambres and Toltec Scenic Railroad. The quiet room and well-tended grounds were impressive. The hotel offers a beautiful view of the river. I appreciated the mini fridge with a tiny freezer that actually froze my items. The location was easy to find and check-in/check-out was a breeze. The renovated room was lovely, and the friendly staff made my stay even better. The front porch with benches in front of each room added a nice touch. this family-run hotel is a great value for the area.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The mountain lodge décor perfectly matched the elevated setting. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and there was plenty of floor space in the room. The hotel was situated in a quiet area, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. Additionally, the convenient parking right by the door made unloading luggage a breeze. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The Chama River Bend Lodge was a simple and comfortable roadside hotel. It had all the necessary amenities and was reasonably appointed. Perfect for friends who enjoy going out at night.
