The hotel is conveniently located near downtown Charleston and the marina, making it easy to explore the city and enjoy waterfront views. the rooms are modern and well-appointed, with a small balcony that offers a nice spot to relax and take in the water. the firepit beside the pool is a charming addition, creating a cozy atmosphere to unwind in the evening. Additionally, the breakfast served in the lobby is delicious, especially the breakfast bowl.

There were a few negatives during our stay. the bed in our room was uncomfortably firm, despite the thick mattress pad.

Recently stayed at Marriott for a half marathon. Beds were better than other chains and the hotel offered a few dining options on-site. The outdoor courtyard with heaters was a unique feature that added to the overall experience. The hotel was conveniently located and easy to reach from downtown, James Island, and West Ashley. The vegan option on the menu made dining easier during my visit. The property was clean and staffed with friendly and helpful employees. Across the street, there was a grocery store which was very convenient. Enjoyed a delicious burger at the restaurant after the marathon. Front desk staff provided great recommendations for dinner and check-in was a breeze. The beds were comfortable and there was ample complimentary parking available.

The only downside was that the pool and courtyard were undergoing renovations during our stay, so we couldn't enjoy those areas. Additionally, there was a small issue with the front desk locating our reservation, but they quickly resolved it.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! the location is perfect - just a quick walk to the marina, close to Citadel campus and a Publix food store nearby. The friendly staff made my stay even better, with their great service and attention to detail. The hotel had a great lobby that was clean and comfortable. The rooms were also clean and comfortable, just what you would expect from a Marriott hotel. The service at the front desk was fantastic, and the bellman was very helpful. One thing that I really liked was the restaurant on the premises. It was convenient for breakfast and late-night snacks.

The hotel was not close to downtown, which was a bit disappointing. However, they did offer a shuttle service to the "midtown" area, although it had a fee of $6 per person.
