The breakfast options were limited but the omelette was delicious. the pool was a disappointment though due to its poor condition and limited availability. the location of the hotel was convenient and close to restaurants and shopping.

It was also conveniently close to Acadia, making it easy for me to explore the park. The B&B itself was a charming converted carriage house, with antique yet well-restored décor. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We loved how helpful the staff was, especially when it came to giving us tips on the best sightseeing areas. The service and housekeeping were top-notch, and the room amenities, like the ironing facilities and tea and coffee facilities, were a great addition. We also enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring. this place exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to others.

The only downside is that there is no information about whether pets are allowed or not. But aside from that, everything was perfect.

The knowledgeable staff is ready to explain everything about the nearby national park and the things worth seeing within. The rooms are comfortable and come with a spa-like bathroom. My wife and I stayed at Chiltern Inn for 4 nights while visiting Acadia NP. The Yellow Room was clean, quiet, and well furnished, with a very comfortable bed. Dan provided us with great information about the park and recommended hiking trails, restaurants, and activities. Joan prepared delicious and beautiful breakfasts, and the hosts were accommodating to dietary restrictions. The inn itself is gorgeous, with modern amenities like a pool and spa. We highly recommend this inn to anyone visiting Acadia NP.

The inn is perfect for couples or groups with its cozy rooms and various common areas to relax and enjoy each other's company. We even had the pleasure of hearing Dan play music one night, which was truly outstanding. The hospitality of Dan and his wife Joan made our bed and breakfast experience unforgettable. We can't wait to return to Bar Harbor and hopefully stay at this amazing place again. highly recommended!
