Our room at Clifton House was beautifully furnished and clean, with a stunning view of the Mississippi River. The forced air conditioning was a welcome relief. Although we had to travel to the main hotel for breakfast, the table service and kind server made up for the average quality of the food. I would recommend this hotel for its impeccable location and charming ambiance.

Best aspects of our xmas stay were the stunning view of the river and the beautifully decorated interior of the house. It was like stepping back in time. the location was also ideal, with easy access to the bluff walk and other attractions in the area. We also appreciated the comfortable beds and bedding provided.

Worst aspects of our stay were the lack of cleanliness in our room. the sheets and pillow covers were messy and crumbled, and the bathroom towels were grubby and stained.
