Comfortable stay with stunning views

Breakers Resort offers a clean and updated room with breathtaking views directly on the beach. The continental breakfast was a delightful treat, featuring delicious waffles and eggs. The friendly front desk staff made check-in a breeze, enhancing our overall positive experience despite minor inconveniences.

The pool is great and the rooms felt spacious for our family of five. The breakfast was decent with good options and the kids loved the hot tub after a long day.

It wasn't the cheapest option out there, but I think it was worth it.

Beautiful beach views and close to ferry access for Mackinac. Steps everywhere made our stay cumbersome with luggage.

Beautiful views and a serene private beach made for a lovely atmosphere. The room decor was inviting, but the carpets felt damp upon arrival, likely from cleaning. Staff promptly provided a dehumidifier, which was appreciated. Breakfast offered a tasty variety, though more fruit options would have been nice. The restaurant was pricey, yet the food was phenomenal, especially with a cozy fireplace by the beach. The tall beds were a challenge for my kids, and the pool was unexpectedly closed. Clean, friendly service and a convenient shuttle made the stay worthwhile.

The view from our room was absolutely stunning! I loved having beach access and soaking up the sun on the shore. The breakfast at The Club was delicious, and I appreciated the dining options without needing to drive anywhere.

With breathtaking views of Lake Huron directly from the balcony, I enjoyed quaint morning sunrises while soaking in the serene atmosphere of the beach, which offered plenty of chairs and had a volleyball net and cornhole boards for fun; plus, the indoor pool and hot tub were nice amenities after a long day of exploring! The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and although the continental breakfast was good, I did wish there were more options to choose from.

The room was nice but smaller than expected and had a musty smell. The beds were very comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. Temperature control worked well. The view of Mackinac Island was enjoyable, but the unattractive nearby building detracted from it. The lack of an elevator made carrying luggage awkward, especially for a handicapped guest. Grounds were well-kept, and the staff, especially at the front desk, were helpful. We appreciated the live music at the restaurant but noticed poor service that could use improvement.

I was really bummed when I realized our fireplace didn't work at all and the patio was swarmed with annoying midge flies. We definitely chose the wrong room; should’ve gone for something simpler and saved some cash. What a letdown!
