The design of the hotel was unique and visually appealing. the location was great, being close to a park, a BBQ restaurant, and historical sites/buildings. Additionally, it was within walking distance to Pineview Reservoir, which was a major advantage for us as we enjoyed spending time there during our Christmas getaway.

There were a couple of downsides to our stay. Secondly, the breakfast options were limited, with mostly hamburgers and sandwiches available.

Our stay at Compass Rose Lodge was a delightful surprise. The small town environment and peaceful location provided the perfect escape. I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The design was beautiful and the location was perfect. The hotel is located in a quaint pioneer town, just outside of a larger city. The bunk room I stayed in was perfect for my family of 5. It was spacious and had comfortable beds with great bedding. The hotel also provided fantastic bath products and thoughtful touches. The attached coffee house was a great addition, offering delicious food and convenient "to go" bagged breakfasts. The staff was also very helpful and friendly.
