I chose this hotel for a business summit and found it to be very convenient, with amenities such as coffee/tea makers, irons/ironing boards, and phones with free local calls. The 24-hour business center and gym were useful during my stay. The 24-hour front desk and laundry facilities were also very accommodating, adding to the overall convenience of the hotel.

The only service that I missed for my work was a shuttle service to the nearby business district.

As we were moving from Utah to Maine, we stayed at Country Inn for one night before closing on our house the next afternoon. Despite some minor cosmetic issues, like patched up carpet and chipped paint, this was the best value and sleep we had all trip. The staff was friendly and accommodating, providing plenty of linens and ensuring everything worked well. I particularly enjoyed the ability to open the window for fresh air, which is a rare feature in most motels. The motel had a charming country feel that added to our overall experience.

Being close to Bangor Mall was a huge advantage, as we could easily take our three lively kids, Sarah, David, and Lily, for shopping and entertainment. The hotel's prime location allowed us to explore the largest outdoor venue in Maine, catching live music and enjoying a variety of events, making it an exciting experience for the entire family. Furthermore, the comfortable and clean rooms provided the perfect respite after a day of fun, ensuring a pleasant and relaxed stay for everyone.

My wife says that having a children's play area or game room on-site would have been a great addition for families with children, providing them with more entertainment options.

The hotel's prime location near major stores made our stay exceptionally convenient. We were able to easily hop over to the nearby Walmart, which was bustling with activity, adding a quirky form of entertainment through our ground floor window. It felt like our very own reality show, complete with unexpected plot twists and a diverse cast of characters.

I particularly enjoyed sitting on the verandah, sipping wine while watching a thunderstorm approach - it was so peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with super comfortable beds. The staff is welcoming and accommodating, providing excellent service. The breakfast in the morning is delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. Some rooms even offer a nice view.

The check-out process can be problematic, with a possibility of being charged extra or encountering a difficult manager.
