Clean rooms and great staff, but breakfast options were limited.

Just an appropriate option for a rapid stop in Fredericksburg with great value for the money. Breakfast was very excellent!

Snowstorm or not, we secured a room, thanks to a manager who stepped up under staff shortages. Shannon deserves a shout-out. Her outstanding service made a tough situation bearable; she should definitely be recognized. This was my second visit. While the cleanliness was impeccable and all five rooms were comfortable, there were challenges with payment logistics at check-in that led to unnecessary confusion at checkout. Breakfast options were limited but fresh. The interior needs an update; vending machines were broken, and my room lacked basic items. The pool unfortunately had maintenance issues. Attention to these details is crucial. Would consider staying again, but better management and upkeep are necessary.

The room was large and the bed was fairly comfortable, though slightly lumpy. Noise levels were acceptable, allowing for a good night’s sleep. We did encounter an odor reminiscent of smoke, which could have been more inviting. The AC system was ineffective, making it a bit warm at times. Housekeeping could use improvement; a sock from a previous guest was left behind. The pillows were lacking support, and the comforter felt worn out. The bathroom showed signs of age, with some mold present. Despite these issues, the location was great, close to dining options.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is organized and delicious, and the rocking chairs out front offer a great spot to relax.

The carpet is old and could use an upgrade.

The location is super convenient with easy access to the highway and nearby dining options. Breakfast was surprisingly delicious with plenty of options. Staff was really nice and helpful, especially the girl at the front desk who went out of her way for me. Just wish the room didn't feel a bit outdated and had nicer pillows.

had a clean room with comfy beds. enjoyed amenities like a microwave, refrigerator, and tea/coffee maker. the shower was nice too. breakfast selection was decent, and the staff were super friendly. felt safe there. the fitness center was a plus. just wish the rug was cleaner!

Went on a sick guided tour of mad galleries dedicated to President. Then hit up a dope live show nearby. Super close to Kings Dominion, perfect for thrill-seekers. Plus, easy access to lit colonial spots like Kenmore Plantation and George Washington's Ferry Farm for some historical vibes.

Could use a livelier bar scene for us young party animals! .

Pleasant atmosphere, pleasant service with a wonderfully welcoming front desk staff member who went out of her way to assist with our reservations and a surprisingly delightful breakfast that exceeded our expectations in both quality and variety.

Conveniently located near HWY 95 with ample parking. Check-in was a breeze, and the colonial-style lobby felt welcoming. The room was spacious but had some outdated furniture and cleanliness issues—a few crumbs and hair on the pillows were not ideal. Breakfast options were decent, but it leaned heavily on carbs and missed protein choices. Staff was friendly and handled a challenging situation with a smoking guest graciously. Enjoyed fresh cookies in the evenings, a sweet touch. the cleanliness and maintenance could definitely use improvement. Worth a second chance, but with some reservations.

Stay in Country was awesome. LOVED the clean rooms & friendly staff. Breakfast was good, but could be better. Indoor pool was the best! Would choose again. Better than photos. 😊
