This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The heated outdoor pool was a great feature, and the design of the hotel itself was really cool. I also appreciated the convenience of the free parking and the location, which was not in downtown SLO but still close to Cal Poly and the local beaches. As a Marriott Bonvoy gold member, I received excellent service from the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The bartender, Anthony, impressed me with his extensive knowledge of the local wines in the area. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious and offered great value for the price.

The room was smaller than expected and did not match the pictures on the website. the sofa bed provided in the room was too small and uncomfortable, more like a torture device than a comfort device.

Great location and really good service. the staff was really helpful with recommendations of local restaurants and places to see. the rooms were spacious and spotless and the bar area was very enjoyable. the bartender, Stacia, was amazing! She knew how to make excellent drinks and made my evenings unforgettable. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for excellent service, great location, and an enjoyable bar area.

The front desk staff was not as friendly as the bartender, Stacia. We had an issue with the room lock, which caused us to be locked out for 1.5 hours, but the manager solved the problem promptly the next morning.

This hotel had the cleanest and most comfortable rooms I have ever stayed in. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, both at the front desk and in the bar/restaurant. The location was fantastic, close to great restaurants in a nice neighborhood with lots of meal choices. I was also amazed at the knowledge the bartender Anthony had about local wines in the area.

Loved the great heated outdoor pool and the cool hotel design. The front desk staff were really helpful and welcoming. The location was quiet and offered beautiful views of horses grazing on the neighboring hills. Very central location for visiting nearby attractions like Cambria, San Simeon, Avila Beach, and Port San Luis Rey. Housekeeping staff was attentive.

Excellent Stay, Memorable Experience

I had the most wonderful time during my recent stay at a hotel in San Luis Obispo. The front staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room itself was spacious and impeccably clean, providing the perfect sanctuary after a long day of travel.

I was amazed by the knowledge that the Bartender had about the local wines in the area - it was really impressive! The location was perfect too - close to everything yet secluded - just what I needed!

This hotel provides great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is fantastic for visiting Cal Poly and Avila, as it offers easy access from the freeway and is less than 10 minutes away from the campus. Additionally, the staff is very friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
