Arriving during Christmas, the room was clean and affordable after an unexpected change from another hotel due to a power outage. Convenient location off the highway was a plus for a quick stopover during our road trip.

Lobby's unpleasant cooking smell lingered, but an acceptable trade-off considering the budget-friendly rate. Some room maintenance issues, like a lifted floor, were promptly resolved by a caring employee.

Deerfield Inn provided a clean and affordable room in a pinch. the location was convenient, and the owners were warm and accommodating, making the stay pleasant. If in the area again, this would be my go-to spot. Lastly, the fish at the River Shack was exceptional.

During my stay, the hotel stood out for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient location close to the state park with excellent hiking trails and the baseball fields hosting the state tournament. the hotel facilities were well-maintained, and the peaceful neighborhood added to the pleasant ambiance.

Perfect experience without breakfast available on-site.
