I recently visited Des Lux Hotel for the second time and it was absolutely exceptional! The staff treated us like beloved family, a special shout out to Philip, Mary, and Barb for their heartfelt hospitality. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the included breakfast was fantastic, with made-to-order omelettes and wonderful pastries. The hotel's "old school" vibe added a luxurious touch, and the convenient location made it easy to explore downtown and avoid bad weather with the enclosed walkways.

I recently stayed at Des Lux for a weekend getaway and it was absolutely fantastic! The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The valet service for our car was a lifesaver, especially with the hot weather outside. it was one of the best hotel experiences I've had and I will definitely be choosing Des Lux for future visits.

The staff was accommodating, upgrading our room to a suite with wood floors, a fireplace, and a whirlpool tub. The location in downtown was convenient for shops, restaurants, and theater. A lovely table was set up for us in our suite for our anniversary celebration. it was a memorable experience.

The room was incredibly comfortable and quiet, making my 3-day stay very enjoyable. The breakfast included was well above average, and I loved the little perks like the gas fireplace and fluffy robe. The hotel's workout facilities were also impressive. I highly recommend Des Lux Hotel for a great stay in Des Moines.

We were pleasantly surprised by the exquisite decor and unique ambiance of the Des Lux boutique hotel in downtown Des Moines. The attention to detail in the lobby and rooms, with solid wood doors and a beautiful glass top makeup table, added a touch of luxury to our stay. The comfortable king bed and well-appointed room made us feel like VIPs.
