I recently stayed at Doubletree By Hilton in Berkeley for a weekend getaway. The hotel, although a bit worn by the sea water, pleasantly surprised me with its comfortable rooms. The location on the bay was lovely, but having a car or using Lyft/Uber is a must due to the lack of nearby attractions. The staff, particularly Alyssa at the front desk, went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and make me feel at home. The high ceilings in my top floor room were a unique touch that added to the overall charm. The marina location was excellent, offering stunning views of the bay and San Francisco. The Boathouse restaurant onsite served delicious breakfast every day, making it a great place to start the day. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel if you're in the area.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Berkeley Marina impressed me with its well-equipped guest rooms, featuring private balconies and homely amenities such as a coffee machine. The on-site American cuisine restaurant and free Wi-Fi also added to the comfort of my stay. the location within close proximity to Adventure Playground and Eastshore State Park provided ample opportunities for leisure and exploration.

The gym and spa areas were not well-maintained, and the facilities seemed overcrowded during my stay. The pool and training machines in the gym were frequently occupied, and the spa was mainly used by local residents rather than hotel guests.

Located by the marina with great views. Indoor pool and hot tub area are lovely. Free Wi-Fi with minor connection issues. Close to Cal-Berkeley. Spacious and comfortable rooms with free cookies for guests.

We had a great stay at the hotel with a clean room and comfortable bed. The front desk staff were excellent and very helpful. The hotel facilities, including the two pools, were nice and well-maintained. The location right on the marina provided beautiful views of the boats and the Golden Gate Bridge. We also enjoyed the convenience of being near the bay and within walking distance to a few restaurants.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The location was splendid, right next to the marina. The sunsets were breathtaking, and it was easy to access downtown San Francisco via the Bay Bridge. The staff was prompt in addressing any issues, and they even moved me to a different room and offered a free breakfast to make up for the trouble. The second room was perfect, and the overall service was excellent. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the marina view from my room was amazing. The front staff was friendly and helpful, and my kids loved the complimentary cookies upon arrival. It was definitely value for money.

The location is stunning, and we had a blast playing bocce on the new patio. Our room was immaculate with super comfy beds. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. Plus, we loved that we could bring our furry friend along. And let's not forget, the cookies were absolutely delicious! We'll definitely be back!

He even upgraded our room to a suite, which was spacious and perfect for our family of 3. The breakfast had a nice view of the marina and was quite good. The hotel's location on the harbor and next to Cesar Chavez Park was beautiful, with paths for walking and breathtaking views of the bay and ocean. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I appreciated the safe onsite parking.

As longer term business travelers, we appreciated the excellent breakfast options, the wonderful pool and spa facilities, and the peaceful location on the water. The nearby parks were perfect for walking and the access to Berkeley and the city was fabulous.

The location of this hotel is convenient to Berkeley and offers a very attractive marina view. There are many close trails right on-or-near the water, including a nature trail. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the breakfast is fantastic with a nice variety of snacks and drinks available in the lounge for Hilton Honor members. The indoor pool is also a nice amenity to have.

There can be some noise due to construction happening nearby.
