Liked everything about our stay at Downhill Apartments 😊

We had a fantastic stay at Downhill Apartments in Lake Placid. Edvina and Nevile, our hosts, were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for our 20-day stay. the apartment was well equipped with a fully functioning kitchen, cozy living and dining rooms, and it was spotlessly clean. the key collection process was super easy with a door code, making it convenient for both arrival and departure. the location, just south of town, was great with easy parking options downtown. the apartment itself was adorable, with a creative use of loft space and a comfortable bed. We especially loved the fireplace and the charming dining room lights. it felt like a comfortable and homey place to stay.

The location of the apartments is convenient, with easy access to attractions and a short walk to Main St and the Olympic Center. The fully equipped kitchen allows for meals at home, and the cozy decor creates a comfortable atmosphere. The private deck and sizable loft are advantages, providing additional space for relaxation and sleeping.

The parking situation can be problematic, as the owners may not always provide the designated parking spots.

I particularly loved the fireplace and the charming dining room lights. the bathroom had plenty of storage space, especially after moving some towels to the towel rod or hooks. the hosts, Edvina and Nevile, were incredibly accommodating and provided all the necessary supplies for our 20-day stay. the apartment was well-equipped with a kitchen, living room, and dining room, making it feel like a home away from home. the location was also convenient, not far from Mirror Lake and the shops and restaurants nearby.

Downhill Apartments is a beautiful and well-maintained hotel with spacious and nicely decorated apartments. The proximity to Main St and the Olympic Center was great, and the fully functioning kitchen was convenient for dining in. The owner was friendly and accommodating, even allowing me to check in early and pay later.

Breakfast option could be improved with more variety.

Although the bathroom was small, the separate shower area made getting ready easier. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this place.

My partner and I had a wonderful 20-day stay at Downhill. The apartment was well equipped, clean, and beautifully decorated. The hosts, Edvina and Nevile, were incredibly accommodating and provided all the necessary supplies for our extended stay. We loved the spacious layout of the apartment, which had two queen beds and a cozy loft. Additionally, having a great restaurant right next door was a convenient plus.

The location of the apartment is not ideal, but it encourages exploration of the surrounding area. The apartment itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. There is a great restaurant nearby. The shower in the bathroom is excellent. Parking in town is affordable at $6 a day.

The owners of the apartment were not friendly.

Loved the cozy decor and fully equipped kitchen in this apartment. the bed was comfortable and the location was great with easy access to attractions. Plus, the key collection process was super easy and convenient.

The bathroom was extremely small with no space to put toiletries except for on top of the toilet. And the mirror was positioned too high, making it barely usable.
