We had a fantastic stay at Downhill Apartments in Lake Placid. Edvina and Nevile, our hosts, were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for our 20-day stay. The apartment was well equipped with a fully functioning kitchen, cozy living and dining rooms, and it was spotlessly clean. The key collection process was super easy with a door code, making it convenient for both arrival and departure. The location, just south of town, was great with easy parking options downtown. The apartment itself was adorable, with a creative use of loft space and a comfortable bed. We especially loved the fireplace and the charming dining room lights. it felt like a comfortable and homey place to stay.

The private deck and sizable loft are advantages, providing additional space for relaxation and sleeping.

The location was also convenient, not far from Mirror Lake and the shops and restaurants nearby.

Parking in town is affordable at $6 a day.

The bathroom was extremely small with no space to put toiletries except for on top of the toilet. And the mirror was positioned too high, making it barely usable.
