The quality of the accommodations did not match the high price and looked more like a budget motel.

I was pleasantly surprised with how close Downtown Inn was to all the restaurants and shops. Although I didn't get a chance to use it, the pet-friendly policy is a big plus. The friendly front desk staff was able to check me in early which allowed me to explore Durango sooner. Overall I would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

I recently stayed at the Downtown Inn for a quick weekend getaway. The location was excellent, right across from the downtown area and with easy access to the Animas River Trail. I loved that there was plenty of free parking available. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, perfect for a no frills stay. I was pleasantly surprised to be given a ground level room by the river, just as I had requested. It was delightful to wake up to the sound of the flowing water. a great experience!

This hotel is located in a prime spot, right in the center of the town with plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars to enjoy. It's great that it's situated on the Animas river, providing lovely views. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the basic amenities of the room were perfect for our needs.

No major complaints, but a few minor hiccups with the swipe cards for room access.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The location was great, right near the town center and on the Animas river. The staff were very attentive to my needs, providing excellent room service and dry cleaning. The room was equipped with ironing facilities, air conditioning, a sitting area, and a hair dryer, which made my stay even more comfortable. I also enjoyed the flat-screen tv and cable/satellite television options available.

So we recently spent the thanksgiving weekend at this hotel and while it wasn't perfect, there were a few things that we appreciated. For starters, the complementary breakfast vouchers were a nice touch, as was the free coffee in the lobby. the location was also very convenient, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. And we loved being close to the river and taking walks along the riverwalk.

The biggest problem was the noise. Our room was right next to the parking lot and we could hear cars coming and going all night long.
