We stayed at El Cordova for the second time, and it was just as wonderful as before. The 1BR suite we had was comfortable and spacious, and the pool/patio area was perfect for relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel safe during these challenging times.

Charming hotel full of character, with a cozy and comfortable room. Great staff who went above and beyond to make sure we had a safe and enjoyable stay. Convenient location near popular attractions and within walking distance to public transportation. Pleasant atmosphere and the added benefit of a courtyard with a pool and BBQ grills for cooking.

Some minor inconveniences, such as the blinds not completely blocking out sunlight and a poky bathroom with a tricky shower control. Would have liked a simple breakfast option on the terrace along with coffee.

Great family vacation. The hotel location was perfect, close to the amenities and beach. The two bedroom suite with a full kitchen was extremely comfortable. The staff, especially Grayson, was always friendly and helpful. The beach was beautiful and there were plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Taking the ferry into San Diego was a great experience. a highly recommended hotel.

There were some noise issues, particularly in the mornings with work trucks and late at night with the loud jets from the nearby navy base. The bathroom was small with only one available.

Our stay at El Cordova was an absolute treat! We got great value for our money with a comfortable room and a perfect location. The staff treated us like VIPs, making us feel special and attended to throughout our stay.

Great location, just steps away from the beach. Loved the charming layout of the hotel. Unfortunately, we had a cockroach visit in our bathroom that startled us. Nevertheless, the comfortable bed made for a good rest. Overall I recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, just a short walk from the beach and close to many restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing great service throughout my stay. Additionally, the design of the hotel was cute and aesthetically pleasing, adding to the overall ambiance.

One of the major downsides of my stay was the noise level. My room was located near the courtyard, and I could hear everything going on both in the courtyard and the adjacent room.

The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The location of the hotel was great, being close to the beach and downtown restaurants and shops. We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of our room, with a full kitchenette and a beautiful large bathroom.

We found the noise levels to be quite high in some rooms, which affected our overall comfort and sleep quality. Another downside was that the prices at the hotel were a bit too high for our liking, making it a bit difficult to afford a longer stay.

As young people, we loved the hotel gardens and peaceful pool area. The location was perfect, walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the beach!

I loved staying at this hotel! The location was perfect, right in front of a restaurant and just across from the ocean. The outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi were great, and there were even barbeque grills available for guests to use. The staff were really friendly and helpful, providing room service and even grocery shopping service. The room amenities were great too, with free Wi-Fi and a kitchenette.

This place is perfect for families!

This hotel was a great find for our weekend getaway. The location was perfect, with restaurants and shops just a short walk away. We loved that Miguel's Mexican Restaurant was right in the courtyard, making it convenient for lunch and dinner. The staff was friendly and the rooms were renovated beautifully, without losing their cozy feel. We stayed in a room with a king bed and kitchenette, which had all the essentials we needed. The breakfast provided was a nice touch too.

The only minor issue we had was that the location of the A/C unit in the room could have been better. It blew cold air directly on our heads since it was positioned at the head of the bed.
