The motel is conveniently located just a 12-minute drive from the park entrance. We even saw wild mules outside our window in the morning!

We loved our stay at El Portal Motel. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Death Valley, which was just a short drive away. The cleanliness of the room was impressive, and we had no issues with wifi connectivity. It was also convenient to have parking right in front of our room and be within walking distance to restaurants. we had a safe and enjoyable stay.

Our only issue was with the freezer in the room. It seemed to defrost overnight, resulting in soggy cardboard boxes and extra water.

The motel is on the quiet side of town and just 8 miles from the park entrance. The beds were comfy, the room spacious, and we had free WiFi. The hosts were friendly and gave great restaurant suggestions. There's a nice outdoor porch area and the motel is conveniently located across the street from the Museum. It's a functional and elegant place with all the basic amenities you need.
