The hostel's location is very convenient, just a short 10-minute walk from downtown Estes and 20 minutes from the visitor center for the national park.

The staff at the hostel were friendly and helpful. The guests I met were fascinating and diverse, including both mountain path hikers like myself and technical rock climbers. The hostel served as a base camp for various mountain expeditions and had a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, with plenty of hot water for showers. Access to the main part of downtown was within short walking distance.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the social atmosphere at the hostel. It was a great way to meet new people from different states and even countries. the guests were fascinating, with some being mountain path hikers like myself and others being technical rock climbers. It was a fun and diverse group. Additionally, the hostel's location was perfect. It was just a short ten-minute drive into the beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park. Being able to easily access the park was a major plus. Lastly, the hostel had a fully equipped kitchen, which provided everything I needed to cook my own food. It was convenient and saved me money on eating out.
