During our Christmas stay, we were pleasantly surprised by the nice property and the cleanliness of the hotel. the rooms were very neat and the bathrooms were spotless. We particularly loved the large shower, which was a great way to relax after a long day of exploring the area. Additionally, the location of the hotel was key for us as it was conveniently close to Mackinac Island, Petoskey, and other attractions in northern Michigan. It was the perfect base for our holiday adventures.

There were a few negative aspects that we experienced during our stay. the walls and ceiling seemed to be quite thin, as we could hear the TVs in the neighboring rooms.

This hotel is a great find with excellent value for money. The location is perfect -- very close to the expressway and downtown. The rooms are fantastic with comfortable king size beds, which appear to be newly remodeled. The staff is friendly and attentive to details. Lastly, the breakfast is great!

Our room at Fairfield Inn was extremely clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows provided a great night's sleep. I loved the modern amenities, including the microwave, fridge, and coffee pot in the room. Despite not having a ground floor room, I still enjoyed my stay. As friends who enjoy going out at nights, we loved the convenience of the attached bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. The fact that they were already provided saved us space in our luggage and made it easier to freshen up before heading out.
