the Safari tent we stayed in was spacious, well-stocked, and had comfortable beds. the shared bathrooms were clean and had individual showers with temperature control. the staff were responsive and the property was beautiful and well-maintained. I loved that there was a grass field for kids to play and gas fire pits for cozy evenings. it was a luxurious and comfortable stay.

We've been coming here for years and love it. The additional cottages are great, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The park is well maintained with plenty of activities for all ages. Close to Solvang without the crowds. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing vacation getaway.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

I recently stayed at a fantastic resort in a quiet location with friendly staff and beautiful lofts. It was perfect for my family, especially my 5-year-old who didn't want to leave. The kids loft was a great space for them to hang out, although I was a bit nervous about the steep stairs. Everything was clean and well-stocked, and the outdoor patio areas had amazing views. There was plenty of space for our family of 4, and we even booked our next weekend getaway there!

We were very impressed with this place. The staff was professional and polite, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The grounds were well-groomed and clean, which added to the luxurious feel of the hotel. The amenities in our cottage were top-notch, with everything we could have needed. We particularly enjoyed the almost private pool in the Santa Inez Ranch cottages, as well as the evening movies and activities provided for our grandchildren. It was clear that this hotel goes above and beyond to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of its guests.

We highly recommend this hotel for families, as there is plenty to do for both adults and children.

The breakfast option could have been better.

During our recent stay at Flying Flags, my husband and I were thrilled with the accommodations. We stayed in a beautiful Wine Cottage and were blown away by the attention to detail in the decor. The bed on the main floor was incredibly comfortable and we enjoyed cozy evenings by the gas fire pit with our newly purchased wine. We would definitely choose to stay here again in the future. Despite the rain on our last day, we had a much-needed and enjoyable weekend getaway.

The campground had a really nice grassy area where our friend's wedding ceremony took place. the large banquet hall was perfect for the reception, and we loved dancing outside on the patio with the DJ. Another advantage was that the campground had a number of cabins to rent, which were quite comfortable for us as wedding guests. the location was also great, with easy access to nearby restaurants and a bus stop for a quick ride into the city.

Dislikes and Worst Aspects: One negative aspect was that the upscale glamp-tent we stayed in did not have a space heater or extra blankets, which was a problem since it was a cold December night.

I had a smooth and efficient check-in process. The campsite was well-maintained, with clean and fully functional amenities. The grounds offered a variety of kid-friendly activities, including pools, playgrounds, and open areas for fun and play. The on-site restaurant served delicious pizza and chicken wings. I enjoyed the unique layout of the small house cul de sac and would definitely return for another visit.

Not one thing.

I had an amazing time at this resort! The cottages were spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was great for cooking. The BBQ was a fantastic bonus. The location was excellent, close to many attractions and restaurants. The outdoor activities were perfect for families and there was a great atmosphere with fun people around. The hotel staff was friendly and the check-in process was a breeze.
