Genuine New England charm adds to the atmosphere.

During my stay from 2023-09-10, I encountered several issues. There was no daily housekeeping, leading to a dusty room that clearly hadn't been cleaned well. Additionally, the evening desk clerk was not only rude but seemed to lack basic knowledge about services, leaving me frustrated. On one night, there was simply no food available, even at the bar, making it difficult to find a meal after a long day of activities.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with multiple gathering spots and friendly staff. Enjoying imaginative meals at the pub made for memorable evenings.

Rooms are dated needing upgrades and Wi-Fi is weak requiring trips to the lobby for reliable service. Dining experiences can be inconsistent with menu items frequently sold out.

The dated rooms could certainly use a makeover!!! Wi-Fi consistently fails, often forcing a trek to the lobby!!! Dining could improve by stocking menu items consistently!!!

This place suits me perfectly! The cozy ambiance, friendly staff, and great amenities like the seasonal outdoor pool, air conditioning, and leisure room are just what I need. I remember how helpful the staff was with local info. Don't miss the delicious breakfasts! I'm definitely coming back for a romantic escape.

I found this place to be a great hub during family events. The short hike to the river was a highlight of our stay. My room provided space for relaxation with a deck overlooking the hills. I appreciated the options for outdoor activities, including tennis courts and a hot tub. I was impressed by the staff's attention to detail and friendliness throughout my visit. Spending time with my family while enjoying the area felt fulfilling. It was nice to take a break from my busy city life.

the inn's location was perfect for exploring beautiful hiking trails and attractions like mt washington cog railway. we enjoyed the cozy bar in the basement and the hot tub area was a lovely retreat after a day out. breakfast offered delightful choices like waffles and eggs, though the service had a long wait at times.

not one thing could be improved , just a bit more staff would help.
