During my transit in New York, I stayed at Freehand and appreciated the convenience of its location, as LaGuardia Airport is only 15 km away. The inclusive east-side lounge and the designs by Roman and Williams added a unique and stylish touch to the hotel, making my short stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The noise level at the hotel was quite disruptive. Despite being on the 16th floor, the thin walls and windows made it feel like I was right in the midst of the bustling city.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, being close to 2 metro lines commonly used to access the city. Additionally, it is conveniently located near the #6 subway and a fun night spot. The hotel facilities are great, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere in the common areas, as well as a rooftop bar with a variety of cocktails and a lively DJ. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the hotel offers a delicious breakfast.

Nothing not to love.

The location of the hotel was perfect for my business trip, with easy access to my meeting venue and to major sights in the city. The renovated rooms and common areas were stylish and well-maintained. I also appreciated having a choice of great restaurants within the building, offering a variety of options at different price points.

There were a few negative aspects of my stay. The rooms were on the smaller side and had inadequate lighting and tables.

We loved staying here! The location was perfect, with a subway stop nearby that made it easy to access everything. The area around here is vibrant and lively with plenty of local restaurants to try out. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff and room amenities that made us feel at home. The rooms themselves were comfortable and soundproofed, allowing us to sleep without any interruptions. The dining restaurant had delicious food, and the bar/lounge area was a great place to relax after a busy day.

The star of our stay - Hero! Dog friendly. Nice room options. Informal vibe. Great location. Good value for money. Beautifully made old building. Comfortable rooms. Nice addition - game room.

Conveniently located near subway station and rooftop bar is a must-visit. Comfortable beds and spacious bathroom. Arcade room brings a fun and relaxing experience. Friendly and positive staff, plus awesome cleaning service. Relaxing and vintage atmosphere with delicious food.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, with easy access to attractions uptown and downtown. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities, such as the lobby and mezzanine area, were amazing. We loved the variety of restaurants and lounges available, and the breakfast spot downstairs was great for a quick bite. The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially the doormen who went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Nothing to complain about at all.

I recently stayed at Freehand for a few days and had a great time! The bunk option was perfect for our group of friends and the clubs and bars on the premises were so much fun. I loved the convenience of Smile to go and having water available in the reception area. The staff was absolutely terrific, accommodating our early check-in request and providing robes in the rooms. The premium king room was spacious, comfortable, and had a nice working area. The cafe downstairs was terrific and Broken Shaker was a blast! The design of the rooms was homey and eclectic and they even came with a steamer. The housekeeping staff was wonderful and the maintenance team was incredibly attentive. a great place to be cozy and spend time at.

Totally recommend this hotel.

The queen room was well-arranged with space for bags and a spacious bathroom. The arcade room had a wide selection of classic games to enjoy. The staff were exceptional, accommodating our requests and providing warm greetings. The Studio bar was fun and comfortable, and the desserts were incredible. The location was close enough to walk to most places and conveniently near the subway station.

Not obvious to find.

The Explore Quad room at Freehand New York is so cozy and chill, perfect for a group of friends like us. The funky decor and comfy beds make it feel like a home away from home.

I personally found the bathroom a bit small, but it's no big deal.

Located in a central and lively district, this hotel offers easy access to the city's main attractions. Situated in the Flat Iron district, it is well-connected with two metro lines that are often used to visit the must-see sights of the city.

The room is the downside of this hotel. Minimalist and small without any storage space, it leaves you with barely enough area to move around.

The location of the hotel is fantastic! Within walking distance to Union Square park, main streets, and subway lines. The room was very comfortable with a great shower. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The rooftop bar offers a stunning view of the city.
