The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding Adirondacks. It provided a perfect backdrop for a romantic getaway. We were pleased with the quality of the meals served at the hotel. The food was delicious and well-prepared, making our dining experience enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was the availability of walking tracks around the hotel. It was a great opportunity to explore the area and take in the natural beauty.

Our room was quite small, which was a bit disappointing for a romantic escape. It would have been nice to have a larger space to relax and unwind.

Restaurant serves three meals a day. Comfortable rooms, some with balconies overlooking the lake. Free mountain bikes and boats for guests. Perfect location for snowboarding at Gore Mountain.

Loved the cozy cabin-like atmosphere and stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The staff was friendly, warm, and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The buffet breakfast and dinner were consistently delicious and offered a wide variety of options. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful nature and going on hikes. The pub provided a great selection of drinks and was a cozy spot to relax after a day of adventuring.

Some rooms had high windows that made it difficult for shorter guests to enjoy the view. Our room did not have a TV, so we had to rely on our tablets for entertainment.

Spent 3 nights on a father/daughter ski trip. Very QUIET & EXCEPTIONAL SCENERARY & the skiing was great! Enjoyed dinner in a nearby village. Cozy, rustic and romantic, with amazing views. Lounge was great for relaxing. Kayaking on the lake was serene. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Fantastic location in the Adirondacks with well-maintained cross country skiing trails. Food and wait staff were excellent.

We also appreciated the variety of amenities offered, such as the ski pass vendor and ski equipment hire, which made our winter getaway even more convenient and enjoyable. The complimentary welcome drink was a nice touch, and the tours and ticket assistance provided by the hotel staff allowed us to explore the area to the fullest.

We enjoyed a magical winter stay at this rustic historical lodge with great XC-skiing conditions, charming rooms, and an amazing restaurant that far exceeded our expectations. I recently stayed at this mountain-top hotel and I'm happy to say that I had a great time! Here, I admired the breathtaking view of the surrounding nature and enjoyed the luxury of air conditioning in my room. The housekeeping staff was very attentive, making sure my room was spotless at all times. I had access to a wide range of amenities, including free wi-fi in my room and an electric kettle to make tea in the morning. In addition to all of this, the staff was very helpful and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
