The room lighting was quite dim, making it slightly challenging to navigate around the bed.

We absolutely loved the charming throwback atmosphere of this inn. The front desk staff were not only friendly but also recommended great local dining and attractions. The location was superb, just a short walk from the beach and shops. The room was clean, spacious, and had a comfortable bed. The inn also offered a delicious breakfast and had coffee and tea available all day. The cozy fireplace and the option to relax or nap indoors was a nice touch.

Felt like a true getaway, where nothing was too much trouble.

This hotel is conveniently located very close to city activities and the beach, making it a perfect choice for those wanting to explore downtown Seaside. I recently had the opportunity to stay at a charming inn in a prime beach location. The room was lovely and provided a peaceful atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was the availability of complimentary cookies and refreshing drinks in the lobby, which were a nice treat after a long day of sightseeing. Additionally, the breakfast provided a wide variety of choices and the patio was a perfect spot to enjoy the morning sunshine.

While I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. the bed was not as comfortable as I had hoped, possibly due to its size.

The rooms are comfortable with wood paneling and large old windows that you can open for some fresh air. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, and the breakfast served is a great way to start the day.

We had an amazing Christmas stay at this cozy seaside inn. The staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice extras like robes and slippers. The location was perfect, close to all the attractions but still quiet and peaceful. We loved sitting outside under the pergola, enjoying the gas fire and chatting with friends. And the breakfast was delicious, with a hot cooked dish each morning. it was a great value and a charming place to stay.

There wasn't much to dislike about our experience at this inn. However, we did find the noise from other guests in the common areas to be a bit disruptive at times.

I loved that they had Keurig coffee available for free in the breakfast room. the hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff made me feel welcome throughout my stay.

The Gilbert Inn was a beautiful bed and breakfast in a charming coastal town. the room was comfortable and cute, with plenty of hot water for showers. the breakfast in the morning was excellent and we enjoyed dining in the pretty sun room and patio. the location was perfect, just a couple blocks from the beach and a nice boardwalk. the staff was super helpful and accommodating when we arrived late. We would definitely recommend staying here!

The breakfast nook was a delightful spot to start the day, with plenty of sunshine and a pleasant atmosphere. The food exceeded expectations and the coffee was delicious. Loved the holiday-appropriate Christmas music in the background. Nearby, there were shops, a pub/movie theater, an arcade, and of course, the beach just a block away. It was a perfect getaway.
