Must say, the shuttle service was clutch! Jim, the owner, picked us up like a champ and even helped another chommie out with a taxi. Plus, the brekkie was lekker and super convenient to grab. Rooms were clean and had everything we lekker needed!

Only downside was hearing a bit of airport noise during the day, but nothing too crazy after 8pm.

the golden north inn is simply a tragedy. the room was tiny, a shoe box really, and the bathroom could use an exorcism. I was hoping for a room upgrade as a courtesy for the inconvenience but all I got were sour pillows and a grumpy staff member. almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

The owner and staff made our hockey tournament weekend memorable with their personal attention and kindness, constantly checking in on our team and providing snacks to keep us fueled.

The room was outstanding, toasty warm and quiet, with excellent amenities including a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, making it very comfortable.

the golden north inn was an absolute dissapointment. I couldn't sleep with the loud noise from upstairs, and then to make matters worse, my room wasn't cleaned on the second day! I woudl ve been satisfied if I had received a complimentary room upgrade or even a nice welcome gift. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

I had a lovely stay at the Golden North Inn. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, promptly picking me up from the airport and offering helpful recommendations for nearby attractions. My room was comfortable and clean, with a microwave and fridge provided. The location was ideal, with a grocery store just a short walk away and various restaurants nearby. I really appreciated the grab-and-go breakfast, which included hard-boiled eggs and fresh fruit. Overall, it was a delightful experience and great value for the price.

I loved the homey vibe and the super friendly staff. Staying there with my boyfriend was a delight, especially when we discovered the nearby local spots recommended by Paul and Scott. The warm ambiance really made our trip memorable.

In my wife’s opinion, the parking could be improved.

My shower had a light stain that looked like it had been auditioning for a horror movie. Not a deal-breaker, but I wasn’t sure if I should clean it or call in for backup!

So we got in late and there was this dude Carlos who picked us up like right away. The breakfast was really solid for a budget place, muffins and yogurt and all, and they were just so friendly about everything.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but for what we got totally acceptable.
