We got excellent value for our money with a beautiful room, comfortable bed, and stunning river view from the balcony. The location was perfect, within walking distance of great local attractions in Gruene. The staff treated us warmly and made us feel like VIPs.

The breakfast offerings could be improved, particularly in terms of variety.

I recently stayed at Gruene River Inn for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Traveling alone, I felt completely safe and welcomed by the friendly staff. The view outside the balcony brought peace to my heart. The staff was great, with a very friendly and welcoming gentleman explaining everything I needed to know upon arrival. The hotel offered nice, extra comforts and little touches that made my stay enjoyable. The location above the river provided lovely views and easy access to venues and events in historic Gruene.

The location of the hotel was great, with convenient access to nearby attractions and events. The views from the balcony were also quite pleasant, allowing for a nice relaxation spot. Additionally, the breakfast offered at the hotel was enjoyable and had a good variety of options.

They were small and outdated, with noticeable cracks on the walls. The bathroom was not up to par either, as it was not well-maintained and cleanliness was an issue.

We had an incredible weekend getaway at Gruene River Inn. The "Colorado" room provided stunning views of the Guadalupe River from the balcony. The gas fireplace and Jacuzzi tub added a cozy and romantic touch. The hosts, Danita and Walter, were warm and welcoming. Snacks and a hearty breakfast were a delightful bonus. We can't wait to visit again soon. highly recommended.
