The hotel is on the shore of picturesque Lake Superior, offering beautiful views. It is also very close to the main downtown area, making it convenient for exploring. The hotel also has a great pool and hot tub, as well as a spacious and well-equipped fitness room.

There are some minor issues with the boardwalk in front of the hotel, with some holes in the wooden walkway and missing bricks on a half wall. Although this doesn't significantly affect the overall experience, it takes away from the beauty of the water and poses a potential tripping hazard.
