We had an incredible stay at a hotel that is just a short drive from the beach, restaurants, and the famous Kemah boardwalk. The location, right next to the freeway, was perfect for exploring the area and it was very convenient for us. The staff was friendly and helpful, and our room was super clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast which had a great selection. Additionally, we appreciated having a microwave and a nice view from our room.

Sadly, there was one rude staff member who was less than pleasant to deal with.

I was pleasantly surprised when they upgraded my room to their best one. The room was clean, comfortable, and the free breakfast was a bonus. Norma at the front desk was incredibly helpful and even signed me up for their rewards program.

The breakfast and manager's reception were amazing! the staff made us feel like family and Connie rocked at breakfast. the hotel was super clean and shiny, especially the restroom area. the entire hotel had a brand-new look and the staff seemed genuinely happy. the washing machines worked great and my room was very quiet. the mattress was comfortable and the AC went down to 59 degrees. the food was great, except for one morning when the potatoes were undercooked. I loved the fact that they served a light dinner twice a week.

The room had a musty/mildewy smell and the muffins at breakfast were stale/dry. the lack of a sheer curtain meant that once you open the blackout curtain, you're exposed.
