The location of the motel was great, just a short drive away from the park entrance and the beach. The cottage I stayed in was larger and nicer than I expected, with comfortable furnishings. The outdoor area with the fireplace and bocce ball court was a nice addition.

It was nearly impossible to get a hold of them through phone or email.

During our stay, the staff turned on the heat in our cottage when it got chilly and rainy outside. Although we couldn't figure out how to switch it to AC, opening the windows kept it cool. The location was excellent, close to town and Acadia National Park. The cottage was clean, cozy, and had good water pressure. The small size of the cottage was still adequate for our needs. I will recommend this place.

Incredible location, just minutes from Acadia and Bar Harbor. Loved the shared outdoor space with fire pit and grills, where we met awesome people. Beautiful pond nearby for morning strolls with our dog. Excellent value compared to pricey hotels in the area. Comfortable room with strong A/C, comfy bed, and clean shower. Ryan, the manager, was super nice. Will only stay here when we come back to this amazing place!

I recently stayed at a cozy and coastal home-away-from-home in Bar Harbor. Hanscom's Motel & Cottages exceeded my expectations by a mile! The location was perfect, just 10 minutes away from downtown. The room had a large king-sized bed and a fully equipped kitchen, which was a great convenience. The coastal theme and open space for a community fire pit outside added to the cozy atmosphere. I loved the shared outdoor space with the fire pit and grills, where I had the chance to meet other guests and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Hanscom's Motel & Cottages provided a comfortable and clean stay, making it the best place to stay for a trip to Bar Harbor.

The complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi were a nice touch. the location was ideal for exploring the nearby national park and attractions. the bed was comfortable and provided a good night's sleep.

The room was outdated and had an unpleasant scent that lingered throughout our romantic escape. the shower was small and lacked adequate water pressure.
