We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff did a great job. We appreciated having a kitchenette in the room and the separate bathroom sink area. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a variety of options, including some local fare. The staff were friendly, and the location of the hotel was excellent, right down the road from Dutch Wonderland Amusement Park and with easy access to two highways.

There is a mini kitchenette added to the rooms, making it perfect for a long term stay.

There is some road noise audible from the rooms due to the hotel's location near the highway.

I recently stayed at Hawthorn Suites for a few days while visiting the area. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding with fluffy eggs, delicious coffee, and moist blueberry muffins. The staff was extremely pleasant and made sure my stay exceeded expectations. The convenient location right off Route 30 made it easy to get around. The room on the first floor was quiet, and I appreciated the use of the lobby computer and printer. The Monday evening manager's dinner with free sloppy joes, French fries, warm cookies, and lemonade was a fantastic bonus.

We were especially impressed with the energy and attention to detail of the lady working in the "café" on Monday and Tuesday, who was a bundle of energy and kept the place spotless. Additionally, the housekeeper, Rebecca, was friendly and understanding, coming back twice to clean our room when we were running a bit late. we had a great experience and would choose Hawthorn again in the future.

There were a few drawbacks during our stay. the carpets in the hallway looked dirty and outdated, which was a bit off-putting.

During our stay here, we were very impressed with the hotel's location. It was very convenient to all the attractions in the area and also close to food outlets and a stream. The room service here was exceptional and the staff was always very accommodating. The room was very clean and came with many amenities like ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, rollaway beds, toiletries. Additionally, the dining experience was exceptional and the staff gave excellent customer service. The online facilities and free Wi-Fi in rooms made our work experience easy.
