The staff were sweeter than grandma's peach cobbler, always ready to help. I loved the cozy little common areas, where the coffee flowed like sweet tea. Y’all, that kitchen was a dream! Can't wait to return to this little slice of heaven!

My experience at Highroad Washington DC was frustrating. The noise from nearby bars was unbearable, especially on the first night when one bar blasted music that made it impossible to sleep. I also had issues with the check-in time, which forced me to wait unnecessarily, especially given the high price of the stay. Additionally, although the area has wonderful dining options, the lack of daily room cleaning felt neglectful.

Comfortable room, helpful staff, with fresh towels provided daily and a prime location near a bus stop for easy city exploration.

Couldn't ask for more.

Access after 11 PM is alarmingly restrictive!!! Evening outings can turn into a dilemma for those arriving late!!! Additionally, the lack of wheelchair accessibility makes it difficult for some travelers!!! Small maintenance issues need close attention too!!!

Outstanding neighborhood with a wide variety of eateries.

I was disappointed by the limited access after 11 PM. It made it difficult for those wanting to enjoy the local nightlife. The room I stayed in had a few maintenance issues, such as a drain with a chunk missing, which should have been addressed. Additionally, while the parking seemed convenient, the steep charges were frustrating and added unexpected costs to my stay.

the shower had great water pressure,, but the room smelled a bit too much like cleaning stuff. the bed was super comfy, and the free toiletries were a nice touch,. The staff were really friendly and helpful!

The atmosphere here was amazing! The staff were super friendly and always smiling. Fresh towels were provided, and I loved having my own locker and bed curtains for privacy. Plus, there were plenty of seating and work surfaces in the common areas.

A noteworthy aspect is the equipped kitchen featuring two large fridges ideal for storing food, alongside free laundry facilities. While the atmosphere was social and inviting, it faced challenges with noise from local bars, particularly during weekend evenings, which could interrupt sleep. Some areas required more attention, such as the bathrooms during busy hours, but the friendly staff always provided helpful advice that enhanced the stay.

I stayed here with friends for a few nights and it was a blast! We visited the White House and the Smithsonian museums, both easy to reach with the bus stop right next to the place. The kitchen was a gem for cooking, and we loved the cozy common areas. Free toiletries and coffee were a nice touch, and the neighborhood had great spots to eat and hang out.

We struggled a bit with our luggage since our room was on the top floor. Navigating the narrow staircases with heavy bags was no fun, but we managed. Just a heads up for anyone bringing big luggage!

The nearby neighborhood offered a rich variety of dining options, perfect for exploring culinary delights like grilled fish at local eateries. However, some rooms lacked sufficient windows, making for an uninviting view.
