loved our second stay here! secluded and perfect for a night away. hilltop legacy exceeded our expectations - amazing views, friendly host, and helpful with sightseeing. breakfast was abundant with a vast selection. clean rooms with great views.

For the price we paid, we definitely got our money's worth at Hilltop Legacy. The room was cozy and comfortable, with a stunning view overlooking Hilo, the bay, and the airport. The location was perfect, close to the trees and a small canyon, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The staff, particularly Jade, was extremely hospitable and friendly, making us feel right at home.

The morning meal could use some improvement, perhaps offering a wider variety of options to choose from.

Additionally, the clear instructions provided made checking in a breeze, and I appreciated the convenience of not having to rely on a host at night. The location was perfect, allowing for easy access to central Hilo and nearby attractions such as Mauna Kea observatory and Volcanoes National Park. a fantastic stay!

We stayed in the largest suite at the vacation rental and were thrilled with our experience. the view of the town and ocean was absolutely exceptional. the host was friendly and accommodating, adding to our overall satisfaction. the suite itself was full of charm and character, with unique features like an Art Deco vanity and antique glass bricks. Despite being an older house, it was clean and had all the amenities we needed. the small window AC kept the room cool, but we also had the option to open the windows for a refreshing breeze and the soothing sound of coqui frogs at night.
