The Lodge at Gulf State Park is a stunning four-star resort offering clean and modern rooms with excellent details. The complimentary toiletries and free WiFi added to the comfort and convenience. The recreational opportunities and regional craft beer at the signature restaurants were also highlights.

The hotel had no valet parking, and the room wasn't ready upon arrival; however, these were minor inconveniences in an otherwise pleasant stay.

Chillin' with my squad by the freshwater fishing lake and hittin' up the 28 miles of trails was epic. The eco-friendly vibe was super dope, and the beach access was off the charts. The hotel's chill atmosphere and friendly staff made our vacay totally rad.

Yo, the only thing that could've made our stay even better would be some more lit nighttime activities for the party-going peeps like us. Some cool evening events or a sick beach bonfire would've really taken our vacay to the next level.

I keep coming back for a city break. At my first stay, the staff kindly helped with my bags. This place suits me perfectly. It has everything I need from Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, to an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Plus, no pets allowed and no smoking on site.

Our stay at The Lodge was truly exceptional! The spacious room with a balcony provided breathtaking views. The covered parking and proximity to the beach walkway made accessing the beach a breeze. We are already planning our next trip back!

One minor drawback was the shower/tub in our bathroom which didn't drain well. Though it was the only issue during our entire stay, it was a bit inconvenient.

My ocean view room was simply breathtaking and I truly enjoyed watching the sunrise from my balcony every morning. The restaurants served delicious meals and the park offered an enjoyable atmosphere with live music. Though the parking lot was a bit of a walk from my room, the free shuttle made up for it. I highly recommend this hotel.

Clean property, beachfront location, kids loved the bunkbed. Beautiful layout, super clean, fancy air, nice vacation vibes. Convenient amenities, A++ breakfast buffet, delicious chicken tacos at Foodcraft. Comfy beds, personal fridge, easy beach and pool access. Walking on the beach feels like an island getaway. Peaceful location in the park. Worth every penny, will return.

I recently stayed at a lovely hotel nestled in a state park with a great view of the ocean. The staff here were amazing, and the rooms were always kept clean by the housekeeping staff. I loved the fact that I was able to take advantage of the 24-hour reception, laundry service, and tours/ticket assistance, making my stay even more comfortable. On top of all that, I had access to an outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, and a sun terrace!

This place is a great option for families, and I highly recommend it.

The hotel had a beautiful view, situated on a hill overlooking a state park. The beach was a short walk away, with its crystal clear waters mesmerizing guests. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, making for a pleasant night's sleep.

The parking situation was frustrating, with guests being charged and having to park far away from their rooms.

Great location and beautiful property. Contemporary, clean and located away from all the congestion and high rises. Relaxed atmosphere. Staff was great. Ate at three of the restaurants, food was excellent at all. Enjoyed the outdoor music at the restaurant in the park. Although we didn’t have the opportunity to use them, offered free shuttle to park and free use of bikes. the view was spectacular. Distance to beach was a little far but they did list the distance. Beautiful white sand.

Lots of kids in the pool. Some guests were drinking and making noise after midnight.

Despite a busy road nearby, the hotel surprisingly provided a quiet atmosphere after 10pm. The cleanliness of our room and the comfortable bed exceeded our expectations. The pool was lovely and inviting. Checking out was a breeze, with a pleasant and friendly staff. a beautiful hotel that stands out from the busier areas.

The views from the restaurant decks were absolutely stunning, offering amazing sights throughout the day. the staff, especially the bell boys, were extremely friendly and welcoming. Additionally, the facility was spotlessly clean, making us feel comfortable and at ease during our stay.

We did encounter a few issues during our checkout process. We had to rely on texting for all our requests, and when we asked for a cart, it took over an hour for the bell service to bring one to our room.
