During my stay, there were no restaurants within walking distance, but the hotel provides a decent breakfast 'grab and go' each morning until 10 a.m. The pool was set in a forest atmosphere which was a peaceful spot to relax and escape the weather, and for college-goers, the hotel is just five harrowing minutes from Angelina College.

The location of the hotel was convenient as it was located in a cul, de, sac, providing easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. Additionally, the facilities were nice and the beds were comfortable. the breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options and the staff were friendly.

There were several aspects of the hotel that were disappointing. the rooms were poorly insulated, causing excessive noise from the rooms above, making it difficult to sleep.
