I had a really great time at Holiday Inn Express. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast had lots of choices, although it would have been nice if it remained consistent throughout my stay. The staff were friendly upon check-in and the hotel was conveniently located next to the community I was working in.

The room wasn't ready when I arrived due to short staff, which was a minor inconvenience. Additionally, there was no hot water in the morning, making it impossible to shower properly.

I got great value for my money at this hotel. The room was comfortable and the location was perfect for exploring Southport and Oak Island. The staff were friendly and responsive.

It would have been nice if there were more variety in the breakfast items.

The breakfast was great with a good variety of items. the cleanliness of the hotel was impressive. the worker in charge of the breakfast area was constantly tidying up during breakfast hours.

The air conditioning in our room was not functioning properly and despite calling reception multiple times, it took them 7 hours to move us to another room. We were not happy with this delay and for the price we paid, we expected better customer service.
