We got great value for our money at the Holiday Inn Express in Troutville. The room was clean, spacious, and had all the necessary amenities. The location was convenient for dining and exploring nearby attractions. The staff, especially Megan at the front desk, were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The breakfast selection could have been improved with more hot food options.

The hotel had reasonable prices and was conveniently located close to the highway. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. Additionally, the staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant overall experience.

The breakfast options . The premade omelets were watery and rubbery, and the fruit selection was limited and heavily bruised.

The hotel was clean, new, and had great facilities. We loved the spacious room with a fridge, microwave, and mini Keurig. The beds were comfortable with fluffy pillows. The location was perfect, close to many restaurants.

The staff at the front desk could have been friendlier and more welcoming. Additionally, there were some minor issues like a slight odor in the hallways and noise disruptions from neighboring rooms and outside.

Great location just off the highway. Clean and comfortable rooms. the breakfast offered eggs and sausage, which was perfect for our low carb diet.

The parking lot lighting could be improved. There was a lot of highway construction nearby, making it difficult to find the hotel in the dark.

The breakfast at Holiday Inn Express was a real disappointment. The omelettes were overcooked and the cheese was congealed. When I mentioned it to the breakfast staffer, she ignored me and insisted that they were cooked the way they were supposed to be. The only saving grace was the delicious cinnamon rolls. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for its breakfast experience.

We were on an I 81road trip from the Deep South and decided to pullover and spend the night at a hotel. We quickly used an online app and were delighted to book a room at this hotel. We entered with happy smiles and stated our reservation name to the desk clerk. Without missing a beat she told us we did not have a reservation. She then looked at the computer and quickly said that we did have a reservation. We eventually checked in and were happy with our room.

New, clean hotel. Helpful front desk. Snacks and drinks available. Spacious room with amenities. Comfortable beds and pillows. Sofa bed for extra sleeping. Friendly staff. Convenient location.
