We had an amazing stay at Aka Alexandria! The staff was quick to fix any issues with the air conditioner, and it worked perfectly. The location was ideal, a short drive away from the monuments and museums of DC, but nestled in the peaceful Old City Alexandria. The hotel provided us with complimentary bottles of water, which was a nice touch. We loved exploring the local neighborhoods and found plenty of great restaurants and bars within a mile or two. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and we even looked up where to purchase them for our own home. For the price we paid , we felt like we got an incredible deal. This positive experience has definitely made us loyal fans of Aka Alexandria!

I'm not sure if the staff who didn't greet me when I arrived and didn't show much hospitality really knew the true meaning of hospitality and how to properly assist clients. However, despite this small setback, I would still recommend this hotel to everyone.

My sister, son, and I stayed at Aka Alexandria for the weekend. Our room was clean and had up-to-date amenities. The room could have been a bit brighter, but otherwise, everything was great. Room service was prompt, and the breakfast was delicious. The indoor pool was enjoyable for my son, even though the pool area was a bit chilly. The hotel's "kids eat free" policy at the bistro was a bonus, even though service was slow. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional staff who went out of their way to help us, including providing helpful directions to DC. We will definitely stay here again!

This place was perfect for our budget. The lobby had a bar and the rooms were updated with new carpet. The hotel was only 10 minutes away from the airport and they had an airport shuttle that started at 5am. We also loved the proximity to Old Towne, with its great shopping and restaurant options. The hotel even provided a shuttle service to Old Towne that was super convenient and always on time.

They were kind and welcoming to them/us. The service was very attentive to requests and very helpful in recommending places and events in the area. The room amenities were top-notch, including heating, air conditioning, sitting area, terrace, garden furniture. The dining experience in the restaurant and bar/lounge area was fantastic.

The hotel was a bit out of the way from the city, but it was super convenient to have access to a shuttle and it was good, close enough to walk to King Street and Old Town, about 3/4 mile. this place provided enhanced comfort and quality services.
