Convenient stay near the Mardi Gras ball. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Parking is available in a nearby garage, which is validated with your stay. The top floor has a Sky View lounge with a great city view. The on-site restaurant serves good food.

Despite these positives, there were a few drawbacks. The breakfast staff seemed overwhelmed, and there was a wait to be seated even though the restaurant wasn't full.

As a larger group of friends, we loved the convenient location of the hotel for Mardi Gras events. The spacious rooms had a great view of the parade route, and the staff was always helpful and had a smile on their faces.

The best aspects of our stay were the spacious room and the comfortable bed. The room provided ample space for us to move around and relax, and the bed ensured a good night's sleep. We also loved the key location of the hotel, as it was conveniently located near the Carnival Museum and Church of the Immaculate Conception, allowing us to explore these attractions easily. Additionally, the proximity to Dryades St. was a major advantage, as we could easily access the vibrant nightlife in the area.

The worst aspects of our stay were the noise and the lack of breakfast as advertised. The constant train hooting noises from the nearby railway line made it difficult to sleep, so earplugs are definitely recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, well-maintained historic hotel. The top-floor bar/lounge with its panoramic view was a highlight, and the great restaurant on the first floor had super staff. The overall cleanliness of the hotel and the helpfulness of the staff were top-notch. The location was perfect, within walking distance of restaurants and beautiful historic homes. We initially encountered a sewer smell in our room, but the night manager was incredibly friendly and immediately moved us to another room. The spacious and clean room had a stunning view overlooking the Bay. The hotel had more amenities than we were used to, and we particularly enjoyed the quietness of our room and the breathtaking view from the lounge.

We absolutely loved this place! its location in the historic area of downtown is just perfect - so close to everything including Mobile Bay which was just breathtaking. Secondly, the service was top-notch! From room service, dry cleaning, housekeeping, laundry to in-room amenities like ironing facilities, tea/coffee facilities and rollaway beds. Plus, the free wi-fi in the rooms and soundproofed walls were big pluses. Lastly, the staff was extremely friendly and dedicated - they did everything they could to locate our reservation.

For families visiting, we highly recommend this hotel - it has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The hotel was conveniently located near the Mobile Bay tunnel, downtown historic district, and harbor despite the noisy trains at night. The room was spacious with clean towels, and there was a small but efficient fitness center. Guests could enjoy breakfast served at the restaurant inside and relax by the beautiful outdoor pool.

The hotel billing department repeatedly overcharged my credit card after I had checked out, and it took numerous phone calls to rectify the issue.

As women traveling alone, we felt very safe and secure at the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, even taking action to enforce handicap parking regulations. We also enjoyed the spaciousness of the hotel and the variety of amenities it had to offer. The view from the lounge was absolutely stunning, and we appreciated having an on-site restaurant for added convenience.
